For over 21 years Ms Beverley Findlay has been a dedicated and hard-working member of the Department of Chemistry where she served as a Departmental Attendant. Ms Findlay’s work ethic, punctuality and general approach to her job were commendable, with excellence being one of her hallmarks. She believed that all jobs should be well done and had much to say when that was not the case. A strong woman of faith, Ms Findlay always had an encouraging word for those around her even when she might have been going through rough times. Ms Findlay is well respected and appreciated by her colleagues. Her commitment to the Department was sincerely appreciated. In particular, Ms Findlay’s early morning greetings on the stairs of Chemistry will be missed. On the occasion of her retirement, the Department of Chemistry and the Faculty salutes Ms Beverley Findlay for her 21 years of sterling service. We wish her well in her retirement years.
