The Faculty extends congratulations to Dr. Ina Vandebroek, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Life Sciences and Senior Research Fellow at the Natural Products Institute, who was recently appointed Editor-in-Chief for the journal Economic Botany, published for The Society for Economic Botany by The New York Botanical Garden and Springer. This appointment took effect on January 1, 2022. In her new role as Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Vandebroek is responsible for the scientific rigor of the articles published in the journal and she aims to creatively increase the usefulness of the journal to scientists and others interested in the fields of economic botany and ethnobotany.
