The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) extends congratulations to Dr. Kahmila Hylton, an esteemed alumna and current Dean of the Faculty of Science and Sports at the University of Technology, Jamaica. Dr. Hylton has recently been further recognized for her exceptional contributions to academia, being among the eight academics elevated to the distinguished rank of Professor.
Professor Hylton's research specialization is focused on the removal and analysis of pollutants and contaminants present in water. This achievement reflects not only her dedication to advancing scientific knowledge but also her commitment to addressing critical environmental challenges.
Congratulations are also in order for other well deserving FST Alumni/Graduate students who were promoted to the rank of Senior Lecturer or Associate Professor.
