FST alum Ainsley Henry (’97 BSc Botany/Zoology and 2010 MPhil Environmental Biology) is the new man at the helm of the island’s Forestry Department, the executive agency with the responsibility to manage and conserve Jamaica’s forest resources, and in particular those on public lands. Most recently Ainsley headed the regional track of the Pilot Programme for Climate Resilience (PPCR), a US10 million project executed by the Faculty through the Mona Office of Research and Innovation (MORI).
