The University of the West Indies, Mona is known for its event-partnerships with corporate Jamaica that enable students the chance to afford tertiary studies through generous scholarships. One such event that has been well supported over the years, is the CB5K Walk/Run which takes participants on a fascinating route that encompasses parts of the campus including the Ring Road and parts of the neighbouring Hermitage community. This is an event that the Faculty of Science and Technology has proudly supported, ensuring to represent with a booth where light refreshments are provided to walkers and runners as a reward for their hard work on the track.
