FST grad student appointed to DOSI Advisory Board

Ms. Leneka Rhoden was recently appointed to the DOSI (Deep-Ocean Stewardship Initiative) Advisory Board (April 2024-April 2027). DOSI is a global network of experts which integrates science, technology, policy, law, and economics to advise on ecosystem-based management of resource use in the deep ocean, and on strategies to maintain the integrity of deep-ocean ecosystems within and beyond national jurisdiction.

As a research-intensive university and a founding member of the Russell Group, the University of Southampton houses the DOSI.

As a member of the DOSI Advisory Board, Leneka will be involved in providing strategic advice, promoting DOSI's aims and principles, representing DOSI at relevant meetings and discussions, and supporting fundraising and partnership development efforts.
