On September 13, 2018 over 150 staff members of the Faculty of Science and Technology endorsed the vision for the way forward shared by Professor Michael Taylor whose emphatic presentation left those in attendance, feeling energized and activated. Of note are five of the fifteen primary initiatives that were officially introduced: The UWI Public Science Series , the FST Common Research Facility, the Staff Engagement Plan (StEP), The Living Lab, and The FST Experience. The written plan detailing the proposed strategy including the upcoming initiatives being led by the Faculty Office is being prepared for dissemination to heads of departments.
