In recognition of Breast Cancer awareness, the Faculty of Science and Technology commenced its annual week of activities on October 22, 2018 with the well supported "Pink Day" being commemorated on Wednesday, October 24, 2018. Students and Academic Staff alike participated by wearing the colour pink all week and engaged in "painting the Faculty pink" by painting words and symbols of encouragement on the primary notice board as a show of support to anyone who has faced the disease directly or otherwise. To culminate the day's activities, persons gathered to form the sign of the ribbon while donning their pink apparel.
