The Faculty of Science and Technology extends congratulations to Dr. Peter Nelson (Senior Lecturer, Department of Chemistry) and his colleagues for securing a significant National Science Foundation (NSF) grant valued at USD 5 million (over five years) aimed at developing a quantum computer.
Dr. Nelson's collaborators include researchers from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Ohio State University, The University of the West Indies, Brookhaven National Laboratory, Universities Space Research Association, and qBraid, a leading quantum computing company.
