FST Students Rap With Nobel Laureate, Prof. von Klitzing

As part of his visit to Jamaica, Professor Klaus von Klitzing who won the Nobel Prize for Physics in 1985, was hosted by the Faculty of Science and Technology, UWI Mona where he engaged in a series of activities with members of the academic staff and students. In a session called "A Conversation with a Nobel Laureate" Professor von Klitzing chatted with a room of curious students about his introduction to science and the journey that led to his winning the Nobel Prize. Persons in attendance received insight on the Nobel Laureate's upbringing, family life, and plans for the future while being inspired by his ceaseless love of nature and discovery.
