In celebration of World Water Day, the Departments of Chemistry, Life Sciences, and Geography & Geology collaborated to host a booth at the World Water Day Exhibition, organised by the Ministry of Water, Environment and Climate Change, at The UWI on Friday, March 20, 2026. The integrated display showcased multiple dimensions of water science, including freshwater ecology with diagnostic aquatic species, water quality monitoring and testing, and the hydrology of freshwater systems.

The booth was supported by Kelysia Williams and Dr Thera Edwards from the Department of Geography and Geology, Andrew Green from the Department of Chemistry, and Kerri-Ann Bennett from the Department of Life Sciences.
