Aleem Mahabir is currently pursuing an MPhil in Geography at the Department of Geography and Geology, University of the West Indies, Mona. He was recently selected for the prestigious Clinton Global Initiative University Fellowship for his proposed social initiative that aims to promote socially just workforce development via the provision of career and skills training to young adults in underserved communities in Port of Spain, Trinidad. Aleem has been invited to attend the Annual Meeting for this Fellowship which will be hosted by former US President Bill Clinton at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland in April 2020.
