Ms Jhannel Tomlinson, Ph.D. Candidate in the Dept. of Geography and Geology, Faculty of Science and Technology and Youth Climate Change Advocate was invited to be the Guest Speaker at the Grace Kennedy Foundation Scholarship Awards Ceremony on October 24, 2019. In her speech Jhannel cautioned the persons in attendance, "The time available for meaningful action to prevent dangerous climate change is quickly diminishing and I would like to encourage each and every one of you to use whatever platforms you have, wherever you are to spread awareness”.
