The Department of Mathematics hosted a virtual Internship Orientation on June 2, 2022. The keynote presentation entitled, “Get Ready for the Adventure!” was delivered by Dr. Ann Marie Williams from Placement and Career Services The UWI Mona Campus. During the orientation period, the Jamaica National Commercial Bank (JNCB) offered a position of Capital Markets Analyst to a final year student. The event successfully ended with twenty-one (21) students being engaged by eight (8) companies. The Department of Mathematics and by extension the Faculty express sincerest gratitude to the following companies for their continued partnership: Flow, Krys Global, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Port Authority of Jamaica, STATIN, Symptai Ltd., Grace Kennedy Limited and Planning Institute of Jamaica.
