Joyann Marks attended the Fall 2024 Meeting of the American Chemical Society (ACS) in Denver, Colorado, August 18- 22, 2024. She presided over the CELL division symposium (morning session): Advances in Cellulose and Renewable Materials on August 18, 2024 and delivered a poster presentation entitled, "6-Carboxycellulose acetate butyrate (CCAB): Modified Acid for Drug Delivery".
Dr Marks is an Applied Chemist in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Science and Technology at The University of the West Indies, Mona.
