Remembering our Colleague | Diandra Thompson

The University of the West Indies, Mona, regrets to inform you that our colleague, Miss Diandra Thompson, has passed away.

Miss Thompson was employed at the University from 2015 as a Laboratory Analyst at the Caribbean Toxicology Unit. She then continued her journey on campus in the Department of Chemistry in 2017 where she worked as an Analyst at The University of the West Indies Mona Analytical Chemistry (UWIMAC) Laboratory until the time of her passing. She is remembered by colleagues for her professionalism, kindness and volunteerism at various events hosted by the department and the wider university community.

In light of her death, The UWI flags will be flown at half-mast on Friday, July 9, 2021.
The University extends condolences to the family and friends of the late Miss Thompson.
