Rickardo Anderson, a graduate student from the Department of Physics, was among the over 600 individuals across 13 different categories who were awarded the prestigious Dr. Barry Wint Scholarship by the Ministry of Health and Wellness. Rickardo, who is pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Medical Physics, was one of only two individuals selected in the Medical Physics category, highlighting his academic excellence and commitment to advancing the field.
The Dr. Barry Wint Scholarship, valued at JMD 2.5 billion, is a highly competitive award that recognizes outstanding students and professionals in health-related disciplines and aims to support the development of healthcare professionals in Jamaica.
