The Total You, October 2022 edition featured UWI Valedictorian and FST graduate, Ms. Danielle Mullings and Mr. Marc Lewis (FST Alumnus), Sales and Partnerships Lead at Lynk. Both speakers shared their MyFSTeXperience and its value in their lives, in a session entitled “#MyFSTeXperience: How to get the grades, achieve your dreams and enjoy it all! It was another fulfilling evening with opportunities for students to win lots of prizes and surprises as Lynk hosted a trivia session where four students won cash prizes and others won Lynk branded coffee cups, umbrellas and string bags. Student hosts, Ms. Catherine Lloyd (Biochemistry Rep) and Mr. Antonio Brown (Computer Science Rep) led the programme and FST first year student Denvor Green, pen name Dover Bleu performed “The Dreaming Black Girl”, a poem he penned in celebration of Danielle and her achievements. The piece was framed and presented to Danielle at the end of the performance. Refreshments were served and a hand printing activity was hosted on the FST spine with Danielle, Marc, the students, and all attendees capturing a moment in time with their handprints on canvas.
