UWI brings together experts for Climate Resilience Workshop for Agriculture

 

Leading Caribbean and international scientists and agriculture experts are to meet early next month to discuss the prospects for greater deployment of digital solutions in addressing vulnerabilities to the regional food sector resulting from climate change.

The January 11-13 “Regional Climate Resilience Workshop” is being led by a number of agencies including the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI), the University of the West Indies (UWI), Climate Investment Funds (CIF), Climate Studies Group Mona (CSGM) and the Caribbean Catastrophe Risk Insurance Facility (CCRIF).
