The Climate Studies Group Mona hosted the second in a series of State of the Caribbean Climate 2017: Information for Resilience Building Climate Smart Workshops at the British Colonial Hilton Hotel in Nassau, Bahamas February 27-28, 2020.  The workshop aimed to increase awareness on climate change science and its impact and to operationalize the use the State of the Caribbean Climate 2016 Report in planning, development of policies and sector related activities.  The sectors targeted for this training included water, tourism, health and finance and economic development.  The training is sponsored by the Caribbean Development Bank through the African Caribbean Pacific (ACP) - European Union (EU) Natural Disaster Risk Management (NDRM) Programme.
