Don't you wonder what a climate-resilient Jamaica could look like in 2050 if the world actually achieves net zero emissions? Take a peek at the Jamaica 2050 profile developed under the 'Futures We Want" project coordinated by Cambridge Zero. The projected collaborated with FST experts Prof. Michael Taylor (Dean, FST-Mona), Dr. David Smith (Institute for Sustainable development) and Rajne Reynolds (Postgraduate student, Geography and Geology) to create a future picture that balances what's desirable and what's feasible. The futures for Jamaica and 5 other regions were presented at COP26 in Glasgow.
