The successful candidate will be required to:
Lecture in communication and behaviour change with an emphasis on ageing in relation to programme content in all programmes.
Develop training and promotional materials on ageing and the life course
Contribute to the research agenda of MAWC while developing a personal research agenda
Develop the ageing content for students, media and social media
Support networking with ageing stakeholders and interested parties
Support students
Participate as well as oversee activities at the MAWC CHILL Spot
Participate in all outreach activities
Essential Qualifications And Experience:
Master’s Degree in Public Health or Behaviour Change
Knowledge of communication methods
3 years’ experience working on communication and behaviour change initiatives with older adults
Candidates who possess the following will be at a distinct advantage:
Experience in training of health professionals, allied health professionals and lay persons
Evidence of curriculum development
Training in teaching
Evidence of familiarity with storyboard writing and development of media campaigns or promotional initiatives
