LECTURER IN COMMUNICATION AND BEHAVIOUR CHANGE

The successful candidate will be required to:

 Lecture in communication and behaviour change with an emphasis on ageing in relation to programme content in all programmes.
 Develop training and promotional materials on ageing and the life course
 Contribute to the research agenda of MAWC while developing a personal research agenda
 Develop the ageing content for students, media and social media
 Support networking with ageing stakeholders and interested parties
 Support students
 Participate as well as oversee activities at the MAWC CHILL Spot
 Participate in all outreach activities

Essential Qualifications And Experience:
 Master’s Degree in Public Health or Behaviour Change
 Knowledge of communication methods
 3 years’ experience working on communication and behaviour change initiatives with older adults

Candidates who possess the following will be at a distinct advantage:
 Experience in training of health professionals, allied health professionals and lay persons
 Evidence of curriculum development
 Training in teaching
 Evidence of familiarity with storyboard writing and development of media campaigns or promotional initiatives
