Steffon R. K. Campbell is a Trinbagonian Assistant Lecturer and Coordinator of the Journalism Programme at CARIMAC—UWI, published author, Communication Consultant, freelance journalist, and podcaster. His weekly podcast—Men’s Truth Podcast—is on its fourth season and seeks to provide a safe space for men to express their vulnerabilities, backed by his PhD research.
He also holds a PhD in Social Policy, an MA in Communication Studies and a BA in Media and Communication (with first class honours). He has presented his work in countries like France, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Colombia, and South Africa. He has also produced several radio programmes, documentaries in Jamaica, Trinidad & Tobago and St. Vincent & the Grenadines and has written several investigative stories for the Caribbean Investigative Journalism Network (CIJN).
Steffon is currently on the Board of Directors for Universal Media Company Limited, which oversees NewsTalk 93FM and is a member of the Media Institute of the Caribbean (MIC). He has worked with public and private NGOs including the United Nations, Public Media Alliance (UK), AM Resorts, Playa Resorts, Sandals Resorts International and Jamaica AIDS Support for Life (JASL). His areas of specialization include communication for development, gender, social policy, journalism, and organizational communication.
