Profile: 

lectures in the areas of social policy, monitoring and evaluation of social programmes and social research methods including mixed methods in the Department of Sociology, Psychology and Social Work, UWI Mona Campus.  She is a sociology doctoral candidate whose Ph.D. research examines psycho-social and structural factors which impact educational attainment of Jamaican high school students.   Her research interests include education, parenting, family, gender socialization and the psycho-social impacts of sickle cell disease.  She is Co-founder and President of the Sickle Cell Support Foundation of Jamaica.
