Kerry-Ann Henry

Kerry-Ann Henry, Dip. Ed., B.Sc., MA, MET 

Ms Henry is an Educator, Education Technologist, Performer, Choreographer, and Director of the School of Dance at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts. She is Ballet Mistress for the National Dance Theatre Company (NDTC), and founding member of EdTech Jamaica.

Miss Henry is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, and she holds a degree in Actuarial Science. She also holds a Diploma in Dance in Education from the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, Master of Arts in Theatre and Development from the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom, and Master in Education Technology from the University of British Columbia, Canada. 

Miss Henry has worked as a Corporate/Strategic Planner and Statistician at the Statistical Institute of Jamaica (STATIN). Currently, she engages in educational and social research while actively performing and choreographing locally and internationally. She also lectures at the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts in areas of: Dance, Community Arts, Mathematics, Information Technology and Technology for Learning.

Miss Henry has worked locally and abroad with several Performing Arts Companies, Dance in Education Organizations, and Arts for Social and Educational Development Institutions. She is a proponent of interdisciplinary models, and she investigates and develops educational solutions based largely on education technology and on artistic engagement in technology use in the classroom as well as technology and programmes for developing artist entrepreneurs
