Objective: Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis are uncommon acute der-matologic disorders. The purpose of this study was to examine the frequency, aetiology and outcome of cases of Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis admitted to the dermatology ward at the University Hospital of the West Indies.
Cutaneous drug eruptions constitute a significant percentage of the patients referred for admission to a dermatology ward. This study was done to determine the causative drugs and consequences.

The skin and mucous membranes are frequently affected in HIV infection. This study investigates and documents the spectrum and frequency of these disorders.
