In order to be admitted into the Bachelor’s programme, candidates must have satisfied the general Faculty entry requirements and have passed two units of Chemistry, Biology or Physics at CAPE (or equivalent).
Graduates of this programme will form a core of professionals who will be competent in:
• The recognition, evaluation and provision of basic control options for workplace hazards; • The development, implementation and management of basic OESH programmes;

Entry Requirements B.Sc. Degree with at least an Upper Second Class Honours or equivalent from a recognized university.

M.Phil. and Ph.D. Degrees The M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees are research-oriented and are based on the submission of a thesis. Students are also expected to read prescribed courses viz.
