Eligibility:

The award is available to Jamaican Nationals who:

are registered in the first year of the full-time undergraduate MB,BS programme in the Faculty of Medical Sciences (Sponsored programme).

Criteria:

The award will be based on:

solid academic performance in CAPE 1 & 2 results;
verifiable financial need;
demonstrable involvement in co-curricular activities.

Method of Selection:

Short-listed candidates will be interviewed by a selection panel comprised of UWI and Donor representatives.
