There are no specific age restrictions for eligibility.
There are no restrictions based on previous primary or secondary school attendance.
The award is not limited to students from a specific community or parish.
Criteria:
Verifiable financial need
will be a key criterion for selection.
Academic performance
will be considered for the award.
Prior Involvement in
co-curricular or community activities
will be considered.
Demonstrated
leadership qualities
will also be part of the evaluation process.
Method of Selection:
The scholarship will be advertised on the
University of the West Indies website
.
Applicants will be
short-listed by the University of the West Indies
based on academic performance, financial need and other criteria listed above.
Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a
panel
comprising personnel from the University along with a donor representative.
