Eligibility: 

The award is available to students registered in the in the second year of the Undergraduate Degree programme at UWI Mona pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and:

  1. are Jamaican Nationals;
  2. must reside in the corporate area including Portmore;

 

Criteria: 

The award will be based on: 

  • verifiable financial need; 
  • high academic performance with at least a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 in the previous academic year of the UWI examinations;
  • Involvement in co-curricular/community activities; 
  • Leadership qualities etc. 

 

 

Method of Selection: 
  1. The scholarship will be advertised on the University’s website.
  2. Candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprising personnel from the University and the donors.
