Eligibility:

The award is available to:

Jamaican Nationals entering the Fcaulty of Social Sciences and pursuing studies in Hotel Management

PS. In the absence of a suitable candidate from Social Sciences, applicants pursuing studies in Food Technology/Food Chemistry may be considered.

Criteria:

The award will be based on:

Academic performance based on the results of Year 1 University examinations (at least a GPA of 3.5);
Verifiable finanncial need;
Active participation in co-curricular activties;
Demonstrable leadership qualities, volunteerism and social involvement

Method of Selection:

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel consisting of representatives from Tastee Ltd, UWI & UWIDEF.
