The award will be based on:

Academic performance based on the results of the Year I University examinations (at least a GPA of 3.5);
Verifiable financial need;
Active participation in co-curricular activities;
Demonstrated leadership qualities, volunteerism and social involvement.

Method of Selection:

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed by a panel consisting of representatives from Tastee Ltd., UWI & UWIDEF.

Condition:

The following Terms & Condition apply:

The recipient must continue to meet all the established criteria to qualify for the award in the second year of tenure;
Participation in an internship programme at Tastee Ltd;
Participation in facility tours,meetings and other forms of engagement with Tastee Ltd.

Please Note:

Forfeiture of any of the Terms and Conditions will require full repayment of the scholarship fund remitted on the recipient's behalf.
