Eligibility:

The award is available to full-time Jamaican students who:

are registered in any faculty at the University of the West Indies, Mona;
have completed at least level one (1) of their degree programme.

Criteria:

The award will be based on:

Good academic standing;
verifiable financial need;
demonstrable involvement in community/co-curricular activities;
satisfying all other requirements of The UWI pertaining to Students' behaviour and performance;
students from St. Thomas, Jamaica and very impoverished regions and priotized over others.

Method of Selection:

The scholarship will be advertised on the campus website and/or any other University approved media.

Short-listed candidates will be interviewed by a panel comprising personnel from the UWI and the donor.
