FSS Staff-Student Liaison Committee

OVERVIEW

This Committee meets to discuss the issues that may affect the process of teaching and learning in the Faculty. The Committee is comprised of academic, departmental and student representatives and is chaired and co-chaired by the Associate Dean, Undergraduate Affairs and the FSS Student Representative, respectively.
 

MANDATE AND OBJECTIVES

The Staff-Student Liaison Committee considers problems with the facilities, materials and delivery of undergraduate courses that the staff members and undergraduate students of the Faculty may be experiencing.  The mandate of the Committee is only to consider those problems with the Faculty’s resources as separate Departmental Staff-Student Committees should exist to deal with these problems at the levels of Departments and Units within Departments. The Committee also serves as an arbitrator for those problems with the facilities, materials and delivery of undergraduate courses that cannot be resolved at the Departmental level.
