For the second year in a row the UWI Volleyball Club’s Women team win the Venus International Invitational Competition. The Venus Invitational which was held at the GC Foster College, Spanish Town, concluded on Sunday with both of UWIVC’s teams playing in the finals. They faced off against the International team Creole, both the male and female versions. Unfortunately only UWI Women won their match, with the Men’s team placing second after tying with Creole 2 sets each and losing the tie breaker. But the Girls defeated the Creole team three sets to none, coming out as the victors of the female half of the competition.
