The 2012 staging of the Penn Relays will take from April 26-28 2012 at Franklin Field on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, USA. The Penn Relays are said to be the largest annual track and field meet in the United States and the largest annual relay meet in the world. Over the course of three days, 17,000 athletes from all levels will race in front of 115,000 spectators. The best in the world have and continue to compete at the Penn Relays. The University of the West Indies Mona will seek to cop a few medals at this year's staging of the relays. At present the UWI's 4*100 and 4*400m male teams both hold the sprint relay National Records of 39.66secs and 3:08.80secs respectively. World University Games Gold Medallist, Hansle Parchment along with fellow compatriot Deuce Carter will also seek to medal in the 110m hurdles for the UWI Pelicans.
