The University of the West Indies Mona copped two medals in the 2012 staging of the Penn Relays. The UWI Pelicans 4x100m male team won the College Men Finals in 39.94sec to cop top honors at this year's meet.The team consisted of World University Games 110m Silver medalist Jason Young, David Dunn, Jordan Forte and Kevean Smith. Meanwhile World University Games 110m Gold medalist Hansle Parchment clocked 13.61sec to place second in the 110m hurdles.
The 15 member contingent comprised of UWI Director of Sports; Mr.Dalton Myers, Assistant Sports Coordinator; Rashid Hall, Coach Jason Dawson, Physiotherapist Kerry Lee Richards along with other members of the UWI Track and Field team.
