The World University Games 110m Sprint Hurdles Champion Hansle Parchment has once again lowered his personal record on the track. Parchment, at the recently concluded Jamaica National Invitational Track and Field meet held at the National Stadium ran a Personal Best of 13.19sec to make his name in history as the third Fastest Jamaican of all times in the event.

The 21 year old National Representative went on to dismiss a good field a few days later in the Cayman Island Invitational Track and Field meet in a time of 13.31sec. Parchment was dubbed the "dark horse" of Jamaican Hurdles by local newspaper and is said to be one to watch for, as his current form will see him possibly breaking into the National Squad to the Olympics.

The UWI Mona Sports Department takes pride in saluting another Pelican; Hansle Parchment.
