The UWI Mona Pelicans Male Volleyball team gleamed in victory after winning their match against G.C.Foster College, 3-2. The match was held on G.C’s home ground on Thursday February 28, 2013.
The court was filled with energy and excitement as the Pelicans were determined to come home the victors of the match. The support given from spectators boosted their confidence and gave them the extra push they needed to achieve this goal.
Their counter-parts, the UWI Mona Female Pelicans entered the court not long after with enthusiasm and zeal as they were determined to continue the Pelican winning streak. Moving with speed and accuracy they flew across the court, digging and hitting in an effort to get ahead of their rivals G.C.Foster and maximize their points. However, despite high levels of perseverance the match ended in 2-3, giving G.C.Foster the victory, this time around.
