The UWI conitingent to this year’s staging of the Camperdown classics had one outstanding performance. High Jump competitor Jelani Bogle, with a leap of 1.90m was placed 1st in the High Jump Men’s open category. In the Long Jump, Delroy Salmon finished 6th overall with a jump of 6:36m. In the distance events, Sean Robinson finished 8th overall in the 800m with a time of 2:01:28secs and Cosmo Stephens also finished 8th in the 1500m in a time of 4:19.83sec. In the 400m Open for female, sole competitor Cassandra Nesbeth finished 7th overall with a time of 58:81sec. In the men’s equivalent Dwayne Ferguson produced the bless placing for the UWI team being placed 31st in a time of 51:46sec.  

UWI Participated in three (3) events at The Milo Relays in Montego Bay. In the 4*200m, the female team was placed 3rd overall with a time of 1:46:47ses while the male team was placed 6th overall with a time of 1:27:77sec. In the Men’s Sprint Medley, The UWI Male team was placed 3rd overall with a time of 3:32:56secs.
