Aortic dissection and rupture occur in 20–40% of patients with Marfan's syndrome. This occurs predominantly in the third and fourth decade of life, contributing to the increased morbidity and mortality of this specific group of patients. This is the first known documented case report of pre-pubertal left coronary sinus rupture with left coronary artery aneurysms with fistulous communication to both superior vena cava and right superior pulmonary vein presenting with a continuous murmur.

Etofenamate is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). Clinical findings caused by etofenamate are uncommon. Allergic contact dermatitis is the most common cutaneous reaction reported. But petechial eruption due to etofenamate had not been reported yet. This report concerns an 11-year old male with petechial eruption after application of topical etofenamate.
Physicians need to be aware that patients can develop an asymptomatic purpuric eruption when etofenamate is ordered.

We report a case of significant unilateral left proptosis after a fall in a 10-year old child. Magnetic resonance imaging showed an extraconal hyperintense orbital mass extending into the maxillary sinus which was opacified. After drainage the proptosis resolved. The cause of the acute proptosis was haemorrhage within an orbital lymphangioma.

Rhinolith is an uncommon nasal mass and a rare entity encountered in clinical practice. The typical symptoms of rhinolith are unilateral nasal obstruction, foul smelling purulent nasal discharge and epistaxis, crusting, swelling of nose or face, anosmia, epiphora and headache. In this report, we present a case of recurrent rhinolith manifesting as an incidental finding on dental radiographs. A 26-year old male patient with a history of long standing halitosis consultation by a dentist with an otolaryngologist had an operation for rhinolith seven years ago.

Acute neuropathological conditions, including brain and spinal cord trauma, are leading causes of death and disabilities worldwide, especially in children and young adults. The causes of brain and spinal cord injuries include automobile accidents, accidents during recreational activities, falls and violent attacks. In the United States of America alone, around 1.7 million people each year seek medical care for some kind of head injury. Fifty-two thousand of these people will die, while the same number will present with permanent functional disability.

We describe two cases of lateral medullary syndrome at the University Hospital of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica. This diagnosis is often missed and not well understood, so we will discuss the underlying pathophysiology.
