Gladstone and Hermine Pottinger Memorial Scholarship

The award is available to Jamaican nationals who: 

  • are entering their final year of study in a full-time undergraduate degree programme at the University of the West Indies;
  • have had holiday job experience. 

 

The UWI Mona Guild Accessibility Grant

The award is limited to Undergraduate students who are disabled and registered in any Faculty pursuing any programme of study at UWI Mona.

Jeremiah Global Scholarship

The award is available to registered full time students who:

  • are Jamaican nationals;
  • are registered to complete a degree in the Faculty of Social Sciences or Faculty of Medical Sciences;
  • have completed at least one (1) year of the degree programme;
  • are associated with a place of worship or faith-based organization.

Dr. Merle Grant Scholarship

The award is available to undergraduate students who are between the ages 17-25, registered in the Faculty of Medical Sciences and pursuing a programme of study in MBBS in 1st - 5th year at the UWI, Mona campus.

Advent Fellowship Scholarship

The award is available to any student enrolled in any undergraduate programme.

Hastings Needy Students Grant

The award is available to full-time Jamaican students who are:

  • registered in any faculty;
  • entering any year of their programme;
  • from the parish of St. James or Westmoreland.
  • Preference will be given to Students from Montego Bay High School and Mannings High School

Dr Pamela DaCamara and Dr Karl Massiah Scholarship

The award is available to Caribbean Nationals who are: 

  • registered in a non-UGC fund (self financing) programme in the Faculty of Medical Sciences;
  • pursuing the MBBS degree; 
  • entering at least year two of the degree programme. 

CB/UWI 5K Scholarship

The award is available to students registered in any Undergraduate Degree programme:

  • Are entering Level 2 or 3 of their programme of study in the Faculties of Humanities & Education, Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Engineering, Law;or Level 4 or 5 in the case of Medical Sciences students.

Aisha King-Rainford Scholarship

The award is available to Jamaican nationals who: 

  • are registered in any undergraduate degree programme in the Faculties of Social Sciences, Humanities & Education or Science & Technology;
  • attended Immaculate Conception High
  • are between the ages 17-22 

Mae Mercer Scholarship

The award is available to Jamaican Nationals who: 

  • accepted an offer in a full-time  undergraduate programe in any Faculty at the University of the West Indies,Mona 
  • resided in Glengoffe
