Environmental Physics

For students beginning their UWI journey in the 2011/12 academic year, the major that applies to you can be found here.


A Major in Environmental Physics requires 32 Part II credits consisting of 20 credits from the following Core courses:

Core Courses:

Level 2

Level 3

Plus

Twelve (12) credits or any three or four of the following courses.
At least 2 courses of the electives being from Level 3:

  • ELET3460   Digital Signal Processing
  • ELET3470   EM Transmission and Propagation
  • GGEO3203* Climate Change in the Tropics
  • PHYS3385  Electromagnetism
  • PHYS3395 Astronomy and Cosmology
  • PHYS3399 Research Project (Non Electronics)

*GGEO3203 Climate Change in the Tropics may require HOD Permission


A Minor in Environmental Physics consists of eight (8) credits of the following Core Courses:
