Yekini is an awardee of the 2020 Prime Minister Youth Award for Excellence in the category of Science and Technology. For his contributions in using innovation to offer climate resilient solutions and providing support during the covid-19 pandemic. PreeLabs has created solutions that aid in the efficient management of energy and water. The group along with other individuals 3D printed and donated over 3000 face shields to the public health care sector and commercially distributed contactless automated hand washing stations across the island.
