POTTINGER SCHOLARSHIP FOR NEEDY STUDENTS

The award is available to Jamaican Nationals who:

 

    • are entering their final year of study in a full-time degree programme within either the Faculties of Humanities & Education, Science and Technology or Social Sciences and
    • have had holiday job experience.

UWIDEF Undergraduate Scholarships

The award is available to Jamaica Nationals or students of Jamaican parentage who are:

 

    • Full time student registered in all Faculties EXCEPT Medical Sciences;
    • Entering LEVEL (year) 2 or 3 of study;

AFJ RALPH & RICKY LAUREN BURSARIES (THE)

Available to Jamaican Nationals who are entering their second year in the Faculties of Medical Sciences, Science and Technology, Social Sciences, Humanities & Education (one award per Faculty).

JOE PEREIRA SCHOLARSHIP (THE)

The award is available to students:

 

    • Jamaican national;
    • Registered in a full-time government sponsored undergraduate degree programme tenable in the Faculty of Science and Technology OR the Faculty Social Sciences OR the Faculty of Humanities & Education ;
    •  entering Level Two (2) or Three (3) of the degree programme.

UWI VISA CARD SCHOLARSHIP

The award is available to:

 

    • Students registered in an Undergraduate Degree programme;
    • Students from any Faculty;
    • Students entering Level II or III (Two or Three); in the case of Medical Sciences Level IV or V (Four or Five) of their programme of study.

UWI BOOKSHOP TEXTBOOK GRANT FOR STUDENTS

The award is available to:

 

    • Students entering the final year of their program of study in any Faculty of the UWI, Mona Campus.

WIGUT BURSARIES (OFFERED BY THE WEST INDIES GROUP OF UNIVERSITY TEACHERS, JAMAICA (WIGUT))

The award is available to Jamaican Nationals who are:

 

    • pursuing studies on the Mona Campus leading to a first degree in any faculty;
    • entering the Level II or Level III of the degree programme.

PRINCIPAL'S SCHOLARSHIP FOR EXCELLENCE (THE)

The award is available to students registered in an UGC funded Degree programme and:

 

    • Are registered in any faculty;
    • Are entering Level II or III of their programme of study. 

AFJ Ambassador Sue Cobb Scholarship

The award is available to Jamaica Nationals or students of Jamaican parentage who are:

    • registered at the UWI and will be entering their final year of study.
