Dr.Daren Watson was recently named a 2020 Prime Minister’s awardee for Academics at an online ceremony held on December 13, 2020. Daren graduated from FST with a BSc in Environmental Physics and Mathematics (double major) with First Class Honors and later an MPhil in Physics. He has just completed his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Central Florida (UCF) and is starting a postdoc at their Fluids and Structures Laboratory. His PhD was facilitated by a Fulbright Fellowship. The Faculty is proud of Dr. Watson!
