The health and safety of our community is very important. University leadership is working closely with government and public health agencies and continues to follow guidelines from the relevant authorities including the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) and the World Health Organization (WHO). The Faculty of Social Sciences welcomes new Dean, David Tennant, Professor of Development Finance.  Professor Tennant served previously as Head of the Department of Economics, Associate Dean in the Faculty of Social Sciences, and also as Economist in the Financial Regulations Division of the Jamaican Ministry of Finance and Planning. 

Students from the Mona School and Business and Management and the faculties of Science and Technology and Law copped first and second place in the recently concluded fifth annual National Business Model Competition.  See below for details.
