Introduction to Entrepreneurship

This course is the first part of a 2nd semester that is requirement for candidates reading for the BSc in Management Studies (Entrepreneurship). It can be done separately, as an elective. This component focuses on the thinking involved in converting the idea into a viable business plan and the strategies engaged in developing the product so it can be offered to the consumer. The course aims to familarise participants with entrepreneurial thinking: the process by which entrepreneurs identify business ideas, assess and analyse their feasibility and convert them into successful business. Additionally it will assist students in determining whether they are interested in becoming entrepreneurs or employees.
