The featured topic is, “World Bank's Economic Trends & Forecast in the Caribbean and Latin America” to be delivered by the guest presenter

Mr. William Maloney, Chief Economist for Latin America and the Caribbean, The World Bank.

This engaging and insightful seminar will address some of the world’s most pressing economic challenges, global development financing, and sustainable growth strategies. It is particularly well suited for BSc and MSc Economics students and will include a Q&A session.

The event will be moderated by Dr. Patrice Whitely and will take place on Thursday, February 26, 2026 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Executive Lecture Theatre, Mona School of Business.
